Our Community Safety volunteers are a dynamic group of citizens who care about Kamloops and
their fellow citizens. They are dedicated to crime prevention and community safety programs
that enhance Kamloops and make it a safe and healthy place to live.

Qualities we look for
Community Safety volunteers work closely with the RCMP, along with a number of professional organizations
and agencies. As a lot of the work we do involves working with the public, we strive to present a positive
and professional service to our community.
We invite you to join our team if:
- You are 19-75 years of age
- You possess a valid Driver's License
- You are able to successfully pass a police records check
- You have a friendly and approachable manner
- You are positive and enthusiastic
- You are dedicated to making our community safer
- You are committed to our programs
- You are able to volunteer 8 to 10 hours per month
