Clean Air Day
The ECOSmart team is back in action! On June 6 the City of Kamloops will be celebrating Clean Air Day with a waste-free picnic in Riverside Park.

The purpose of Clean Air Day is to demonstrate a wide variety of alternative methods of transit, gardening, composting, and recycling. The focus of this event will be to emphasize the importance of reducing Canada's ecological footprint with anti-idling practices.

10:00 - Event Start
11:00 - ECO Scavenger Hunt
11:30 - Book on the Bus
12:00 - Picnic in the Park (Bring your own lunch)
12:30 - Garden Friendly Critters Presentation
1:00 - Tree Planting Presentation
1:30 - Book on the Bus
2:00 - Event End
Other activities will be going on throughout the day.
