From Community Rooms (adjoining various elementary schools) to larger facilities,
Kamloops has what a community group is looking for when it comes to meeting space.
Community Facilities
Located throughout Kamloops, these are ideal facilities for neighborhood events,
small and moderate sized functions.
Heritage House (cap 115)
100 Lorne Street
Located in scenic Riverside Park, Heritage House is primarily used for senior's
activities and arts and home to the Kamloops Arts & Craft Club. With a capacity of 115,
this is suitable for small or moderate sized gatherings.
Parkview Activity Center (cap 15-61)
500 McDonald Avenue
Situated across from McDonald Park, this facility is designed for seniors and
disabled groups. Parkview Activity Center is ideal for small and medium sized community
functions.
Valleyview Hall (cap 50)
2288 Park Drive
Located in Valleyview, just minutes away from downtown, this facility is used for
receptions and regular community use. It features a full kitchen in the basement.
Community Rooms (Cap 130)
Aberdeen, Dallas, Juniper Ridge and Rayleigh
Community Rooms are available to community groups and families for private functions
under 130 people. All school facilities have a "No Alcohol Allowed" policy.
Gymnasiums
Aberdeen, Pacific Way and Summit Elementary
School gyms are available to community sport groups, for a nominal fee, after
school hours.
