On July 1, 2006 we changed how we collect residential garbage, all garbage containers must comply with our new standards. As of January 1, 2006, Garbage Collection Service Charges are no longer a part of your Property Tax structure, it is now a service which appears on your Utility Bill.

Recycle Your Old Containers
Compatibility
All garbage containers must be compatible with City equipment. Garbage Containers must
be wheeled, have a hinged lid, a 'locking' bar in front and be compatible with City
garbage trucks.
Park it, Point it, Space it
Please ensure that on collection day, that your new containers are at the curb facing the
right way, and properly spaced. Otherwise, your container may not be handled that day.
