Public Art along Rivers Trail

A Path to the Future
Kamloops is working to create a 100 km trail physically linking the city and neighbourhoods within the city.

The multiple use trail will run throughout the river valley, passing through historical sites, nature trails, major parks, and recreational areas. Interpretive signs and displays will inform all users about the historical, natural, and cultural significance of sites along the route.

Route maps and markers help guide trail users. The trail will also include shelters, washrooms, and drinking fountains. The Rivers Trail will provide its visitors various opportunities to learn about Kamloops and area.

When complete, the Rivers Trail will form a vital alternate transportation system and will function as an important public recreation amenity for residents and visitors.
