Transit Plan
The Kamloops Transit Official Transit Plan was completed in 2000. It provided
some direction for the next 20 years but focused largely on system expansion in
the short term. Since the plan was completed, a number of changes have occurred,
including introduction of a universal transit pass for Thompson Rivers University
students, increased growth and community development and a freeze on provincial
cost sharing for the system. The City, along with BC Transit, is planning to
update the plan to better reflect these changes.
